Quinta do Noval
"Quinta do Noval is probably the most famous Port producer in the Douro. They enjoys a privileged location in the heart of the Douro Valley with 145 hectares of vines, entirely classified in category A. Moreover, it also consists of the noblest grape varieties of the Douro: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão, Sousão.
The plots of the vineyard are rich of great geographical diversity, from altitude, exposure and the soil (schist more or less mixed with clay). This gives the wines special nuances according to its original plot. The combination of these nuances gives all the magic of Noval wines."
