N.P.U. Rosé 2009 has officially made history by becoming one of the rare rosé Champagnes to achieve a perfect 100/100 score from Champagne Magazine, published by Meininger this year.

Founded in 1981, Bruno Paillard is the embodiment of perfectionism and meticulousness in the modern Champagne industry. The acronym N.P.U. stands for Nec Plus Ultra, meaning "nothing further beyond" which is the clearest expression of this philosophy of pursuing perfection.

The 2009 vintage is made from prestigious Grand Cru vineyards. The entire fermentation process takes place in small oak barrels, followed by long aging to express the character of the vintage, whilst creating depth, complexity, and outstanding aging potential.

Adorned in a clear orange-pink hue, N.P.U. Rosé 2009 opens up a delicate sensory experience with notes of toasted bread and buttery almonds blended with orange peel and ripe peaches. On the palate, the wine's structure is sharp and balanced, leading the taste buds through fresh cherry notes, adorned with a light warmth of rosemary, white pepper, and a very subtle touch of matcha. The finish concludes with the refreshment of minerality, vibrant and full of life, leaving a deep impression without being flashy.

The perfect score is not only a tribute to the quality and unique style but also a testament to the Bruno Paillard family's dedicated journey in pursuit of perfection, making N.P.U. Rosé 2009 an icon in the world of premium rosé Champagne.
