The growing season began with a particularly mild winter before shifting to a spring marked by dramatic contrasts, alternating between freezing temperatures and intense heat. A warm, dry June encouraged healthy flowering, while welcome rainfall at the end of August provided the water needed for Chardonnay to complete its ripening.

Harvest commenced in early September under cool autumn conditions, producing grapes with richness, creamy texture and remarkable concentration.
