MÉDOC BLANC - A NEW DAWN FOR BORDEAUX'S LEGENDARY LAND
In June 2025, the Institut National de l’Origine et de la Qualité (INAO) officially approved the AOC Médoc Blanc, marking a historic milestone for a region long celebrated for its iconic red wines.
With this recognition, Médoc - the heartland of Bordeaux’s legendary châteaux - officially claims its place on the world map of fine white wines, opening a new and exciting chapter for wine enthusiasts.

A Fresh Breath from Bordeaux
Starting with the 2025 harvest, the first Médoc Blanc bottles will be released in spring 2026. The salty breeze of the Atlantic Ocean and the mineral-laden winds sweeping through the vineyards bring a distinctive saline minerality and layered complexity to every drop.
A unique requirement for Médoc Blanc is that at least 30% of the wine must be aged in oak barrels, enhancing its structure and aromatic complexity while preserving the region’s unique character.

Tradition Meets Innovation
Médoc Blanc will feature carefully selected Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon, Sauvignon Gris, and Muscadelle grapes, grown in the region’s mineral-rich soils, paired with climate-adaptive varieties (VIFA) to bring freshness and innovation while remaining true to Médoc’s pure terroir identity.

Limited Quantities, Grand Ambitions
Though produced in small, carefully managed quantities, Médoc Blanc promises to deliver a refined, distinctive white wine experience for true connoisseurs, ready to accompany elegant dinners, outdoor gatherings, or intimate celebrations.
