Article content
Red Apron Fine Wines and Spirits is pleased to present to our valued customers "The World’s Most Admired Wine Brands 2025" as voted by Drinks International magazine. Among the brands selected by experts this year, we are proud to be the strategic partner and official distributor in Vietnam for 19 out of the 50 brands featured in the ranking.
Since it was founded in 1870, Torres has combined tradition and innovation with the aim of leading the premium quality wine sectors, always producing with the utmost respect for the environment. This family tradition has been scrupulously respected down through the centuries and the company has been passed down from generation to generation.
A leader in the Spanish wine industry and has successfully developed its business around the world, Torres pioneers the internationalization of Spanish wines and exporting its brands to more than 150 countries. The family also owns vineyards and wineries in Chile and California.
#7 Sassicaia
After World War II, Mario Incisa della Rocchetta journeyed from his native Piedmont to the rolling hills of Tuscany, carrying with him a bold vision — to craft wines of noble character in a new land. Upon his return, he gave birth to Sassicaia, a name that would later spark a revolution in the world of fine wine.
Sassicaia, meaning “the land of stones”, evokes the image of his gravelly vineyard, perfectly suited for cultivating exceptional Cabernet grapes. Yet it wasn’t until 2013 that Mario’s monumental legacy received its rightful recognition — his estate was granted its own appellation: DOC Bolgheri Sassica
#8 Domaine de la Romanee Conti
Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, often referred to simply as DRC, is one of the most prestigious and collectible wine producers in all of Burgundy. Nestled in the illustrious village of Vosne-Romanée, DRC crafts and distributes wines from eight distinguished Grand Cru vineyards spread across the Côte d'Or.
The crown jewel, of course, is the Romanée-Conti vineyard itself — a legendary plot that lends its name to the estate and consistently ranks among the most expensive and sought-after wines in the world.
Today, the domaine remains in the hands of the de Villaine family, with part ownership also held by the esteemed Leroy family, continuing a legacy of excellence that spans generations.
#9 Vega Sicilia
The great Irish writer Oscar Wilde once quipped, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." Nowhere is this more fitting than in the case of Vega Sicilia, Spain’s legendary wine estate. In 2018, a counterfeit wine ring targeting restaurants and hotels was uncovered — and Vega Sicilia ranked among the most frequently imitated labels.
It’s hardly surprising. When a wine house holds such esteem that even counterfeiters consider it worthy of replication, it speaks volumes. In fact, Vega Sicilia recently secured the 9th spot in the “World’s Most Admired Wine Brands” — a testament to its enduring prestige and global reverence.
#10 Concha y Toro
As one of the three largest wine producers in the world and a leading force in Latin American wine exports, Concha y Toro holds the distinction of being the first Chilean winery to introduce French grape varieties to the country.
Since its founding in 1883, Concha y Toro has continuously embraced innovation in winemaking. Blending Chile’s rich winemaking heritage, passed down through generations, with an exceptional ability to adapt to shifting tastes and times, the winery offers wine lovers around the globe a vast and impressive portfolio — one that is defined by both remarkable quality and enduring excellence.
