TASTING NOTES: The Bruno Giacosa Falletto Vigna Le Rocche Barolo Riserva presents a captivating garnet color with subtle brick-red tinges at the rim. The nose is a complex and inviting blend of aromas. Ripe red berries, dried roses, and hints of dried herbs create an intricate bouquet. Beneath the fruit, layers of earthiness, truffle, and subtle tobacco add depth and character. On the palate, this Barolo Riserva exhibits a harmonious interplay between its bold structure and elegant finesse. The tannins are well-integrated, providing a sturdy backbone while allowing the wine's flavors to shine. Red cherry and plum notes dominate, complemented by a touch of cranberry and anise. The finish is long and lingering, with the wine's vibrant acidity and refined tannins carrying the flavors effortlessly. Notes of black tea, dried orange peel, and a hint of spice linger.

In 1964, Giacosa was the first producer in Piemonte to bottle a single vineyard "cru" from the Santo Stefano vineyard.
