GRAPES VARITETIES: 100% Chardonnay
TASTING NOTES: The nose is quite complex, with pineapple, quince, peach and ripe lemon notes. The palate comes in with wet-stone freshness and notes of grapefruit. There is a lovely texture and freshness here, given by the ageing and site location.

BRAND NAME: Comte Lafon (Les Heritiers)
Considered one of the finest winemakers in France, Dominique Lafon produces some of the most coveted white Burgundies. He strongly believes in the potential in Maconnais where he has been making terroir-driven wines since 1999. Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon was also established in 1999 when the Lafon family purchased a small domaine in Milly-Lamartine. Their enthusiasm for the project has grown ever since, as has the domaine: today it covers 26 hectares in the most prestigious appellations of the Mâconnais, all farmed biodynamically.
