On the palate, it offers a pleasant chewiness and layered texture, balanced by a vibrant line of acidity that brings clarity and precision. BRAND NAME: Domaine Didier Dagueneau
Domaine Didier Dagueneau is one of France’s great, iconic estates, making singluar, age-worthy Sauvignon Blancs from the appellation of Pouilly-Fumé. Didier Dagueneau, founder of this domaine, was one of the first in the region to experiment with single-parcel wines. Like any great winemaker, Didier knew that the path to transcendence began with fastidious and painstaking work in the vineyards. To this day, vines are farmed meticulously, with an average of one full time worker per hectare, which is unheard of except at top domaines like Leroy.
