BRAND NAME: Ferme de la Sansonniere - Mark Angeli
In the 15th century, the La Ferme de la Sansonnière vineyard belonged to the local lord Jean de Villeneuve. In the 19th century, THE 6-hectare plot was sold to the noble De Russon family who had their seat at the Château de Bonnezeaux. The Cesbron family, who had been sharecropping the La Ferme de la Sansonnière vineyard since 1958, finally acquired the plot in one piece at the end of the 1970s. All the grapes were then sold to a cooperative winery that produced wine for supermarkets.
