The Guigal Estate was founded in 1946 by Etienne Guigal in Ampuis, a small ancient village and cradle of the Côte-Rôtie appellation. The history of the Guigal family reflects the glory of the wines of the Côte-Rôtie. The wine family played a pioneering role in improving Côte-Rôtie's international reputation.
