BRAND NAME: Pedro Luis

In the mid-19th century, the disorders produced in European viticulture by the phylloxera plague caused the rapid expansion of vineyard cultivation in the Jumilla region. In 1870 and taking advantage of these new circumstances, an enterprising wine broker named Roque Martínez founded the first commercial winery in Jumilla. His son Pedro Luis Martínez García made the family business prosper during the first half of the following century in such a way that, until today, the name """"Pedro Luis Martínez"""" is synonymous with quality wines, business solvency and commercial honesty.
