Leroy

It’s almost impossible to put into words the significance of Domaine Leroy in the world of wine. From the very beginning, the domaine has been farmed biodynamically, even before this practice became more mainstream in Burgundy and around the world. The result is incredibly low yields of extremely concentrated and refined wines with a rare purity of fruit— some of the most highly prized wines in the world, second only to Domaine de la Romanée-Conti in terms of price and quality. 
Or in Robert Parker's words: "Lalou Bize-Leroy stands virtually alone at the top of Burgundy's quality hierarchy... her wines embarrass much of what is produced in Burgundy."
