Ideal temperature for storing and enjoying wine:
If you add ice to wine, the ice will melt and dilute the wine, making it light and giving an unsatisfactory flavor. Therefore, Red Apron Fine Wines & Spirits recommends not adding ice to wine.
All wines have an optimal temperature level for enjoyment. Red wine in a slightly cool state will taste better than when warm, and its taste can be destroyed if drunk too hot. White wine will become pleasant when left to soften a bit after taking it out of the refrigerator. A bottle of white wine will have a more perfect flavor when it is cooled to the appropriate level.
Once the wine has been opened, the air entering will promote oxidation. Therefore, you need to drink the entire bottle of wine within the appropriate amount of time. Full-bodied red and white wines should be drunk within 3 days. White wines and medium-bodied wines can retain its taste longer, about 4-5 days, provided that the lid is closed after drinking and stored in a cooler or wine cabinet.
