Philippe Pacalet is the nephew of Marcel Lapierre, an outstanding pioneer and champion of the natural wine movement and who had a significant influence on Philippe Pacalet. Known as the “revealer of terroirs”, he has founded a revolutionary “micro-negociant” business in Burgundy in 2001, sourcing small volumes of very high quality grapes from no less than 27 appellations! His focus is mostly on the ageing of the wine, in order to reveal the complexity of the Burgundian terroir.
