🏅RATINGS & AWARDS: 90pts Jasper Morris - Inside Burgundy
GRAPES VARIETIES:
Pinot Noir
TASTING NOTES:
Medium cherry-red. The Aux Fourneaux seems warm and supple like a forest floor in summer, also referring to plums, raspberries and wild strawberries, cinnamon cherries and wild berry yoghurt. On the palate, a little more restrained at first, but also silky elegant and inviting. Then the ripe blueberry fruit becomes clear, accompanied by lactic notes similar to those in the aroma. The fresh acidity and the increasingly taut mouthfeel on the second sip. The Pinot seems open and juicy with a tannin that is present but silky until the finish and a likewise rather silky acidity.
FOOD PAIRINGS:
Grilled Salmon | White Meat | Duck | Bun Bo Hue | Peking Duck
