GRAPE VARIETIES: Chardonnay
TASTING NOTES: The influence of this exceptional terroir appears in the pure mineral character and the intensity of aromas. Quite restrained at first, this Grand Cru offers finesse, complexity and a superb length. Spice comes from wood aging while the texture is concentrated and dense. It's powerful, full of apple and crisp pear flavors that are tight and firm. There is a dusty, almost tannic character to this powerful wine.
FOOD PAIRINGS: Smoked salmon | Lobster salad | Royal King Crab | Mature cheeses | Chopped veal with creamy sauce | Porcini mushrooms
