Product description

GRAPES VARITETIES:
Chardonnay, Pinot Noir & Meunier

TASTING NOTES:
With a distinct golden hue attributed by yeast development in bottle from over 5 years on lees and the blending of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. This wine displays exquisite nutty and toasted notes on the nose with a hint of seaspray and oyster shell. On the palate, it delivers a seamless crisp acid line with a creamy layered palate indicative to the cool climate of the Pipers River Region of Tasmania.

FOOD PAIRINGS:
Aperitif & all food! Very Versatile!

BRAND NAME: Taltarni Vineyards

Established in 1969, Taltarni Vineyards is one of the pioneering wineries of Victoria’s Pyrenees wine region. Owner John Goelet, a direct descendant of the Guestier wine merchant family of Bordeaux, discovered and purchased Taltarni Vineyard after conducting a worldwide search for a site comparable to the great vineyards of Bordeaux. Initial plantings were of Bordeaux varieties, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Shortly thereafter, Taltarni extended its plantings to encompass Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Shiraz as well as Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.
