Crafted from a rigorous process that includes the Appassimento technique, an ancient technique from the Veneto region, Italy to produce a greater concentration of colours, aromas and flavours in the wine, Duca del Valentino's big and bold flavor will captivate any wine lover’s soul. The nose is very concentrated and distinct expressing a bouquet of ripe red fruit, and jammy notes. The palate is powerful, complex and enveloping yet with supple and well integrated tannins that layer an attractive flavour profile of red cherry, red currant jam, kirche with a backbone of sweet spice, that concludes with a lingering, fruity finish.
